1:10 PM PST - Closing Remarks

Remotely sensed data is rapidly becoming critical in geo-spatial analysis, particularly in international development when other data sources are scarce. This workshop breaks down the perception that these data are too complex or costly using open source tools like Python and Google Earth Engine.

Workshop Details

Through hands-on modules, experts will train researchers and policymakers in the application of Nighttime Lights data to important policy questions. Covers data access, interpretation, processing, visualization, and statistical analysis including time series.

Familiarity with Python or programming (beginner OK) is preferred but not required.
